This Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow Review is from our 2019 stay and site inspection. It's the only Park Hyatt in Russia, and one of just 7 Park Hyatt hotels in Europe. We've previously stayed at the hotel in 2016, so we had a basis for comparison both with our prior stay and with other Moscow hotels, such as the Ritz-Carlton Moscow, Four Seasons Moscow, and the St. Regis Moscow Nikolskaya.
Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow Location and Check-In
The Park Hyatt Moscow is located at Neglinnaya St., 4 in central Moscow, just a short walk from The Bolshoi Theater, Red Square, and the Kremlin. The closest Metro Station is Teatral'naya, on the green line, so if coming from Moscow DME Airport on the Aeroexpress train that arrives at Paveletskaya, transfer to the green line.

Park Deluxe Room, Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow
With Hyatt Prive, we confirmed an upgrade from our original Park Room (376-430 square feet) to a Park Deluxe Room (484-538 square feet). Our room was on the 9th floor, with the two twin beds we'd requested, and a sitting area by the window.
We appreciated the fresh fruit welcome amenity:
There was a cute milk chocolate bear and cookies for my son, although we try to limit our sugar intake on big travel days, so we didn't partake.
There was an illy espresso machine, as well as a hot water kettle and Dammann Freres tea.
The hotel was remodeled in 2012, and has been maintained well, but there's no getting around the fact that the bathroom is a bit dated, since the toilet is part of the room instead of separated by a door, and there's just one sink, not two sinks.
Bath products are Blaise Mautin:
Conveniently, there's a master control panel on the nightstand that operates the lights, sheer drapes, and blackout shades, as well as illuminating the do not disturb indicator outside the door.

The Verdict
Given that the hotel's last renovation was 7 years ago, in 2012, the Ararat Park Hyatt has been maintained very well. I do wish that the bathroom was larger and had a separate toilet chamber, as well as double sinks, and that Park Hyatt mattresses were more comfortable, but otherwise we had a very good stay.
As we had a late breakfast due to having arrived at about 1:30am, the Park Restaurant breakfast buffet looked a bit picked over, but still had good smoked salmon, unagi, and yogurt. I ordered some syrniki, which took quite awhile to prepare, and were only ok; not anywhere near as well prepared, for example, as the syrniki at the Four Seasons St. Petersburg.
On this visit, the highlight was definitely the neck and shoulder massage I had in the Quantum Spa. The therapist was fantastic, and it's the best hotel spa massage I've had in recent memory.
