Can I Earn More Than One Bonus If I Book More Than 1 Room?
No, the offer is limited to a maximum of 500 bonus points per member per stay. If both you and your spouse or companion are Hyatt Gold Passport members and you have two rooms booked as a family, one of you can book the first room via the app, and your spouse/partner can book the second room via his/her app so that you can each earn the bonus.
Will Hyatt Free Night Stays Count for This Promotion?
No, free night stays do not qualify for the 500 bonus Hyatt Gold Passport points.
Will Hyatt Cash + Points Stays Qualify for This Promotion?
Yes, if a Cash + Points stay is available and you book with the Hyatt app and stay by November 30, 2016, you'll qualify for the 500 bonus points.
What About Virtuoso Benefits?
Unfortunately, if you're booking a Hyatt hotel that is a Virtuoso member, you'll be giving up Virtuoso benefits if you book via the Hyatt app, as Virtuoso reservations must be made with TravelSort or your Virtuoso advisor. For this reason, I recommend only booking non-Virtuoso Hyatt hotels for this promotion, and making Virtuoso reservations as a TravelSort Client or with your Virtuoso advisor, so as to enjoy all the benefits. Per the Hyatt offer terms “please allow 2-3 weeks after stay is completed for points to be credited to the account.”
Other Ways to Earn Hyatt Gold Passport Points Quickly?
While you earn 5X Hyatt Gold Passport points per dollar on Hyatt stays and 3X per dollar at Hyatt hotels when paying with the Hyatt Visa, don't forget that Chase Ultimate Reward points transfer to Hyatt Gold Passport. That means that anytime you earn 5X points per dollar using the Chase Freedom rotating 5X bonus categories or 5X with your Ink Plus, including 5X on all Amazon spend and 5X on Whole Foods spend, those points can also be transferred to Hyatt. That said, I find Ultimate Rewards points generate greater value transferred to airline partners, such as Singapore KrisFlyer, Korean Sky Pass, British Airways Avios and Air France-KLM Flying Blue.
