There's a 150K AMEX Business Gold Card Offer (higher than the current 100K public offer) that some business owners could find it worth signing up for. You'll be prompted to log into your AMEX account with the above link, and AMEX typically provides a popup if you attempt to apply for an offer that you won't earn a signup bonus for.
Here are the offer details:
- Earn 150K Membership Rewards Points after spending $10,000 on the card within the first 3 months
- Additional 5000 points if adding an employee card ($95 per year) after the employee spends $1000 on the card
- Earn 4X Membership Rewards points per dollar spent (up to $150,000 each calendar year in combined purchases) on the two categories where your business spends the most each billing cycle from the following 6 categories:
- Purchases at U.S. media providers for advertising in select media (online, TV, radio)
- U.S. purchases made from electronic goods retailers and software & cloud system providers
- U.S. purchases at restaurants, including takeout and delivery
- U.S. purchases at gas stations
- Transit purchases including trains, taxicabs, rideshare services, ferries, tolls, parking, buses, and subways
- Monthly wireless telephone service charges made directly from a wireless telephone service provider in the U.S.
- $240 flexible business credit: Up to $20 in statement credits each month after you use the Business Gold Card for eligible U.S. purchases at FedEx, Grubhub, and Office Supply Stores
- No foreign transaction fees
- Annual Fee: $375 is NOT waived the first year

Are You Eligible for the 150K AMEX Business Gold Offer?
Unlike many AMEX offers, this one doesn't have the usual lifetime language, so if you're able to see the 150K offer after logging in and able to apply without a popup indicating that you wouldn't receive a signup bonus, you should receive a signup bonus. Keep in mind, however, the following AMEX terms: “If you or your Additional Card Members have a history of cancelling or downgrading American Express Card accounts within your first year and you or your Additional Card Members cancel or downgrade your new Card account within your first year, we may not credit, we may freeze, or we may take away Membership Rewards from your account. If we determine that you or your Additional Card Members have engaged in abuse, misuse, or gaming in connection with this offer in any way or that you intend to do so, including if you or your Additional Card Members return purchases made to meet the Threshold Amount, we may not credit, we may freeze, or we may take away Membership Rewards from your account. We may also cancel any Card accounts you and your Additional Card Members have with us.”

Analysis
We use a 2 cents per Membership Rewards point rule of thumb, although we recommend aiming for a value of 4 or more cents per point when redeeming points. At 2 cents per point, the 150K AMEX Business Platinum bonus is worth $3000. Even if you get no value from the various statement credits and don't use any of the other card benefits, that bonus less the $375 annual fee yields a net value of $2625, although it's important to also take into account the opportunity cost of the $10,000 minimum spend required to earn the signup bonus.
