Which AMEX Cards Are Targeted for This Offer?
Of my 3 AMEX cards, only the AMEX Business Platinum was targeted; the offer wasn't on my AMEX Blue for Business or my SPG Business AMEX. It's possible that only AMEX Platinum and Centurion cards are targeted.
Are Additional Cards for My AMEX Platinum Eligible?
No, only the primary cardholder is eligible, and there is a limit of one enrolled crd per AMEX online account.
Are All Virgin Atlantic Purchases Eligible?
No; eligible purchases are only those made directly with Virgin Atlantic, through its U.S. Web site, U.S. mobile app, or through the U.S. reservation hotline, and must be made in USD. Flights must originate in the U.S.
Examples of purchases that are NOT eligible are purchases at Virgin Atlantic sales offices, Club House lounges, and onboard flights. Purchases of Virgin Vacations, hotel booking, car rentals, group travel, corportate bookings, Flying Club miles, gift cards, and all third party and affiliate site bookings are NOT eligible.
What are 10,000 AMEX Membership Rewards Points Worth?
If you value your Membership Rewards points at 2 cents per point, 10,000 points is worth $200; if you value Membership Rewards points more highly, at 2.5 cents per point, it's worth $250. Personally, I rarely redeem AMEX Membership Rewards points unless I'm getting at least 5 cents or more of value, based on the ticket price of the award I'm redeeming for.
When Will I Receive the 10,000 AMEX Membership Rewards Points?
Per the terms, additional Membership Rewards points will be credited to your account within 90 days after 10/31/2017.
