Guess the Resort: Ocean Views, 5-Star Comfort

This Resort with Ocean Views and 5-Star Comfort is a quick flight from the East Coast, making it an especially quick getaway for visitors from NYC and Boston, and only a tad farther from Miami and Atlanta. The resort itself is a mere 10 minute drive from the resort, making it possible to be at the beach or pool less than 4 hours after take-off.

Rooms are in the resort's main building, where reception is, and we highly recommend an Ocean View room, which overlooks one of the resort's three pools and the ocean beyond. The sea is visible from inside the room, but the furnished balcony is the place to be:

The room's King bed was the most comfortable bed of our trip, and we slept extremely well.

The bathroom has doors that open up to the bedroom, in case you want to let in more natural light to the bathroom, or if one of you wants to soak in the tub while talking to a companion who's relaxing on the bed.

One of the two swimming pools at the resort has a fountain in it, with ample umbrellas and lounge chairs around it.

For us, the real attraction was the resort's private beach club, reached by a 10 minute shuttle ride. The shuttle service was somewhat infrequent, but is more frequent in peak season. Guests staying in suites have their own golf cart, making it easier to get around the resort.

During our visit, it was windy and the ocean waves were higher than usual, but that made it all the more exciting for our son, who loved the waves (note that you venture into the ocean at your own risk).

If the ocean's too rough, you can also enjoy the infinity pool, which is for adults and kids 13 and older:

The Beach Club Restaurant is popular for al fresco lunches and dinners.

We particularly enjoyed this octopus watermelon appetizer, as well as a seafood curry.

There is a daily resort fee, which includes the usual amenities such as the shuttle service, WiFi, Nespresso in the room, etc., but also some more unusual benefits, such as a rum tasting on Fridays and a gin tasting on Saturdays, and other specially scheduled walks and activities.

Can you guess the resort and where it's located?

It looks like Bermuda, and the hotel is the Rosewood.

The Rosewood in Bermuda looks nice. Unfortunately I think they got rid of their kids club permanently.
