Bringing Dogs to the Four Seasons Punta Mita, Mexico
Although Mexico doesn't require a health certificate from a veterinarian for dogs coming from the U.S. or Canada, the Four Seasons Punta Mita *does* require that guests bringing a pet travel hold an accredited veterinarian certificate or International Health Certificate, issued at least ten days before arrival. Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita can accommodate fully trained pets under 30 pounds. Pets are welcome on the beach and in the Resort’s restaurants.
U.S. and Canadian travelers bringing a dog into Mexico must have with them a record of all vaccines, an up-to-date rabies certificate and proof of parasite prevention (e.g. against fleas and ticks, as well as lice and mites).
