Four Seasons Paris Food and Wine Masterclasses

.

Holiday giving can be tough. But for the gourmet chef or oenophile, we have an idea: a trip to the City of Light, together with a Four Seasons Paris food and wine masterclass. The iconic hotel, referred to by its fans as simply the George V, will host four of these masterclasses from January to April 2023, two of them led by Chef Christian Le Squer, who helms the three Michelin-starred Le Cinq, and two led by Eric Beaumard, Director of Le Cinq Restaurant and Sommelier of the World silver medallist:

20 Years of Excellence: Discover Chef Le Squer's Signature Dishes – Sunday, January 8, 2023

This January masterclass from 9:30am-2pm, which begins with breakfast in Le Cinq, will help participants learn to prepare the chef's famous Ham, Mushroom and Truffle Spaghetti, an exquisite creation made with truffle and gold leaf timbale that honors the pasta gratin that his mother lovingly prepared every week when he was a child. Guests will also learn how to prepare the chef’s Gratinated Onion, a twist on a traditional Parisian bistro favorite that is particularly dear to Le Squer as it was the first dish he created when he took the helm at Le Cinq Restaurant. The class concludes with an intimate lunch with the chef in Le Cinq, privatized for the occasion – the perfect opportunity to enjoy a wonderful afternoon filled with indulgence.

At the end of the class and wine tasting, savor a cocktail with Beaumard and the opportunity to converse with one of the world's leading sommeliers.

Burgandy Wines Masterclass with Eric Beaumard – Sunday, March 12, 2023

This March masterclass takes guests to the heart of Burgundy, a region dear to Beaumard, sampling wines from both leading producers and small, family-run vineyards. Guests will learn about terroirs, grape varieties and aromas, looking at how to define flavor and structure. As with the February class, enjoy a post-class cocktail with Beaumard while continuing the conversation about viniculture.
