I Just Booked United Tickets! Can I Register and Have These Purchased Tickets Apply?
Per the offer terms, no. If you booked your United tickets within the past 24 hours, you should be able to cancel without penalty and rebook, but check to ensure the fares are still the same and you can rebook at the same or similar price.
Do All United Fares Qualify for The Bonus Offer?
No; Basic Economy (N fare class), government fares, and certain specialty tickets, including but not limited to unpublished, consolidator/bulk, group, tour and opaque fares, won't count towards spending milestones. Any tickets that do not earn Premier qualifying credits also don't count for purposes of the bonus offer.
Do Economy Plus Upgrades and Other United Purchases Count?
Yes, Economy Plus and certain other United travel purchases count per the terms: “Qualifying spend will be calculated using the originally ticketed fare and/or fare classes and Economy Plus purchases, as applicable, and subsequent changes to any fare and/or fare classes as a result of itinerary changes, complimentary or paid upgrade, purchase of travel products (including but not limited to United Club, Premier Access, Award Accelerator, Premier Accelerator)”

Per the terms, the MileagePlus bonus miles will post to your account 6-8 weeks after the promotion ends on July 31, 2018.
