Fly JetBlue Mint Between NYC and California from Just $389 each way, thanks to the new JetBlue Newark to Los Angeles LAX and San Francisco SFO routes.
JetBlue Mint is our favorite domestic U.S. Business Class, especially if you book early enough to secure one of the four suites, with a closing door (seats 2A, 2F, 4A and 4F). While no U.S. business class seats are perfect when it comes to social distancing from other passengers, these are about as good as it gets.
Even now, during the pandemic, JetBlue Mint from New York JFK to LAX or to SFO can easily run to $1149 or more, and the least expensive option we've seen is JFK-LAX for $599 and JFK-SFO for $734. JetBlue Mint fares less than $400 are a bargain if you do need to fly coast to coast, but note that you may need to be flexible to be able to book. Most of the best fares we spotted were mid-week, in September and October 2020.
