Where Can I Obtain a RT-PCR COVID-19 Test?

Given that the COVID-19 test must have been taken within the 72 hours prior to the flight to Costa Rica and return a negative result within that timeframe, time is of the essence. See Where to Get a Fast Coronavirus PCR Test to Travel.

But what if there's nowhere in your area that can provide such a fast turnaround? While there's still a slight risk of results not coming in time, the best chance may be Vault Health, which has partnered with Hawaiian Airlines to provide results within 24 hours after arrival in the lab. See Hawaiian Airlines COVID-19 Testing via Vault Health. From what we've seen, a reservation code isn't required, so going through the VaultHealth.com/Hawaiian portal should get you the faster turnaround time after mailing back one's saliva sample, essentially 48 hours taking into account 1 day expedited shipping to the lab followed by 24 hours to provide the test results. Don't forget to order the test itself well in advance and to only open it under supervision of the Vault Health professional who will supervise your sample collection via Zoom video call.
