The Carlton Milan, a Rocco Forte Hotel, is now open as the second Rocco Forte property in Milan, after Rocco Forte House (comprising 11 luxury apartments), and the tenth Rocco Forte hotel in Italy.
The Carlton Location
The Carlton is located at Via Senato, 5, and also has an entrance at Via della Spiga 8, in the heart of Milan's elegant fashion district. Previously the Baglioni Hotel Carlton, the hotel underwent a €60-million renovation. The beautiful Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a 10-minute walk, while the Duomo di Milano (Milan cathedral) is a 15-minute walk, and La Scala Opera House is an 11-minute walk from the hotel.

The Carlton Rooms and Suites
There are 71 renovated rooms and suites. Rooms start with the Superior Room (301 sq. ft.), which have a walk-in shower and a king bed that can be separated into two twin beds, handy for families, since the room can be connected to a Deluxe Suite or Superior Suite. Deluxe Rooms (375 sq. ft.) offer a walk-in shower and separate soaking tub, and overlook the inner courtyard, Via Senato, or Via della Spiga. Junior Suites are 409 sq. ft., with a view of the inner courtyard; Deluxe Junior Suites are 430 sq. ft., with a view of Via Senato; and Grand Junior Suites (473 sq. ft.) overlook either Via Senato or Via della Spiga, with a private terrace.
Speaking of private terraces, we recommend the Deluxe Suite with Terrace (613 sq. ft.), with views of the Duomo, or for even more of a splurge, the Galleria Suite (828 sq. ft.) with two terraces and views of the Duomo, or the magnificent Scala Suite (893 sq. ft.) with a wraparound terrace and panoramic city views, including of the Duomo.

The Carlton Dining and Amenities
Cafe Floretta is an oasis of botanical-inspired interiors and natural light, which floods through the domed glass roof.
The Carlton Bar draws guests and locals alike, with signature creations by renowned mixologist Salvatore Calabrese that draw inspiration from the creative energy defining Milan between the 1960s and 1980s. The Carlton garden is set to open in Spring 2026.
