The AMEX Centurion Lounge London is now open. It's the first AMEX Centurion Lounge in Europe, and is also the first AMEX Centurion Lounge to partially utilize renewable energy, via solar panels.
AMEX Centurion Lounge London Location, Hours and Access
The AMEX Centurion Lounge London is located in Terminal 3, after security, on Level 2 and is open daily from 6am-6pm. After clearing security, take the elevator located to the left of the Flight Connections access point up to Level 2.
The AMEX Centurion Lounge is accessible to AMEX Platinum card, Business Platinum card, Delta SkyMiles Reserve, Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business and Centurion card members. Currently AMEX Platinum and Platinum Business card members may enter with two guests, complimentary. Delta SkyMiles Reserve members must pay $50 per guest for up to two guests in Centurion Lounges in the U.S., as well as the HKG and London LHR lounges. AMEX Centurion members may bring in two guests or immediate family (spouse or domestic partner and children under 18 years old) complimentary.
Note that as of February 1, 2023, the guest access policy is changing for AMEX Platinum and AMEX Business Platinum card members, who will need to pay $50 per adult guest ($30 per child age 2-17, with proof of age). Guests will only be complimentary if the AMEX Platinum card member has spent at least $75,000 on eligible purchases during 2022, and each calendar year thereafter.

AMEX Centurion Lounge London Amenities
As with other AMEX Centurion Lounges, the London Heathrow lounge offers dedicated work spaces in addition to lounge seating, WiFi, a bar, and hot food (more on food and beverages below).
There are private shower rooms, which we recommend requesting as soon as you check into the lounge, since these are popular and they're on a first come, first served basis. There's also a private wellness room, although it's unclear if this is available during the current pandemic. Note that in light of COVID-19, all lounge guests are required to wear a face mask unless actively eating or drinking.

AMEX Centurion Lounge Food and Drinks
AMEX Centurion Lounges team up with local chefs in a bid to infuse culinary offerings with a bit more flair than is typical for airline lounges, and the AMEX Centurion London Lounge is no exception. The partner chef is Assaf Granit, who hails from Jerusalem, and whose restaurants both there and in Paris and London pay homage to the many culinary traditions that make their home there. Where to Stay in London
The Connaught is among our top recommendations for London, as it offers a fantastic Mayfair location near Hyde Park, the only Aman Spa in London, and wonderful dining at both the 3-Michelin star Helene Darroze at The Connaught and more relaxed dining at Jean-Georges. There are both elegant, traditionally decorated rooms and suites and contemporary rooms and studios. For those seeking a more boutique experience, we recommend the The Cadogan, a Belmond hotel, in Knightsbridge, about a 9 minute walk from Hyde Park, with only 54 rooms and suites, fewer than half the number at The Connaught. The Cadogan has access to the private Cadogan Place Gardens, which also has private tennis courts. Just let The Cadogan Concierge know you need the key to the gardens and the hotel will provide you blankets, deck chairs, and even board games if you'd like, to enjoy a relaxing time in the gardens.
