We're glad to see grocery stores return as a 5X bonus category, given that they were conspicuously missing for Q2 2021. Instead, the Chase Freedom Q2 2021 categories were gas and home improvement stores, which can still be used until June 30, 3021.

Which Grocery Stores are Included?
Most stand alone grocery stores are included. Target and Walmart are not included, and some other stores that sell a variety of goods in addition to groceries, such as warehouse clubs, discount stores, drugstores, gas stations and other stores that aren't dedicated to groceries are also not included.

Which Streaming Services are Included?
The only streaming services that are included are: Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Netflix, Sling, Vudu, Fubo TV, Apple Music, SiriusXM, Pandora, Spotify and YouTube TV.

What's the Limit for the 5X Bonus?
Only the first $1500 in spend per card per quarter is eligible to earn the 5X bonus, of all bonus categories combined. That said, you can have more than one Chase Freedom card and earn the bonus on up to $1500 in spend for each card, for the quarter. If you have two Chase Freedom cards and max out the bonus category spend on each, that would be 15,000 points.

Using Chase Freedom Points
While Freedom points can be redeemed for cash back in the form of statement credit, It's more lucrative to pair it with a Chase Sapphire Reserve or Ink Business Preferred card so as to be able to transfer points out to Ultimate Rewards partners, such as United MileagePlus, Hyatt, Singapore KrisFlyer, British Airways Avios, and other partners, to redeem for business or first class award tickets.
