The new Orient Express Venezia has opened in Venice, the second Orient Express hotel after the Orient Express Rome, which opened in 2025. Accor has resurrected the Orient Express brand, not only for hotels, but also for trains (La Dolce Vita Orient Express offers itineraries in Italy; for select journeys, TravelSort Clients enjoy a complimentary 2-night stay at the Orient Express Rome) and Orient Express Yacht, which launches in June 2026.

Orient Express Venezia Location and Getting There
The 15th-century palazzo, owned by the Arsenale Group, stands proudly where two canals meet along the Rio di Noale, about a 17-minute drive from Venice Airport (VCE), with nonstop service from Atlanta ATL and New York JFK on Delta; Newark EWR and Washington IAD on United; Dallas DFW and Philadelphia PHL on American Airlines; and many European capitals. If coming by train, the hotel is about a 16-minute drive from Venezia Santa Lucia Station. The iconic St. Mark's Square is about an 18-minute walk from the hotel.
Originally built in 1436, the palazzo has been entirely reimagined by architect and interior designer Aline Asmar d’Amman as a hotel for the first time in nearly six centuries. The lobby, once an open stone courtyard, has been transformed into an opulent living room with sculpted wood paneling, rich velvet upholstery, and spectacular bespoke Murano chandeliers throughout. Through a gallery with a rotating selection of contemporary works lies a secret garden with antique gates opening to sophisticated tents lit by Venetian lanterns.

Orient Express Venezia Rooms and Suites
With only 47 rooms, suites, and residences, the hotel is boutique in size, akin to the new Airelles Venezia. The unique rooms and suites showcase restored murals, sculptural ceilings, and views of gardens and canals. Spanning up to 1560 square feet, the six Signature Suites are decked out with 19th-century frescoes, gilded salons, marble fireplaces, and tall windows.

Orient Express Venezia Dining and Amenities
Heinz Beck Venezia is the hotel's signature fine dining restaurant, by Michelin three-star chef Heinz Beck. The intimate setting, for up to twenty guests, serves both tasting and à-la-carte menus with locally-sourced ingredients, such as amberjack with ash buttermilk and red prawn with lagoon seaweed.

La Casati, the hotel's all-day-dining restaurant, serves traditional Venetian fare, such as cicchetti (Venetian tapas) with meat, fish, and vegetarian options, as well as seasonal dishes like marinated beef with artichokes or ravioli filled with creamed cod and wild broccoli.
The Wagon Bar slings signature cocktails and Venetian cicchetti in a plush Art Deco-esque setting inspired by the Orient Express lounge cars.
