The Viceroy Ombria Algarve, Portugal will open October 1, 2024, one of several recent or upcoming openings in Portugal (also see Kimpton Lisbon to Open in 2025). The hotel is the first Viceroy property in Western Europe and only the second in Europe, after the Viceroy Kopaonik Serbia.

The Viceroy Ombria Algarve is located at 9 Rua da Ombria, about a 20 minute drive from the coast and a 30 minute drive from Faro Airport (FAO), which is reachable via nonstop flights from Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Lisbon, London LGW, Munich, Paris CDG, Stockholm, Toronto YYZ, Zurich, and seasonally or via LCCs, many other European cities.

The hotel will host 141 rooms, suites, and private residences. We recommend selecting a room or suite with a valley view and terrace.

Ombria Kitchen, the hotel's all-day-dining restaurant, serves breakfast daily from 7-11am, and lunch and dinner from 12:30pm.

Salpico Pool Bar offers light dishes, cocktails, and refreshing ice creams 11am-6pm.

Nearby are the resort's outdoor swimming pools.

Cafe Central, open 9am-5pm, is the go-to spot for coffee and espresso drinks, fresh bread and pastries, and grab-and-go sandwiches.

In addition to its outdoor swimming pools, the resort's Spa has an indoor pool. The Spa offers a full range of massages, facials, and body treatments in its eight treatment rooms. The Fitness Center is equipped with Technogym equipment.
