St. Regis Longboat Key Opening September 2024

October 2024 Update: After temporarily closing due to Hurricane Milton, the resort has reopened, although recent guests have reported that the beach is closed.

The new St. Regis Longboat Key in the Sarasota, Florida area will open in September 2024 as the second St. Regis in Florida, after the St. Regis Bal Harbour, and the 10th St. Regis in the U.S. The resort, set on 18 acres, will be located about a 20 minute drive from Sarasota's Bradenton Airport (SRQ).

St. Regis Longboat Key Rooms and Suites

The resort will offer 168 accommodations, including 26 suites. Entry level rooms start with Superior Rooms (one king or two queen beds), with a limited view, yet spacious, at 470 sq. ft. Similarly sized Superior Bay View rooms offer a view of the bay, while Deluxe Oceanview rooms (545 sq. ft.) are our minimum recommendation, with ocean views. There are also higher category Grand Deluxe Oceanview and Grand Deluxe King Terrace Rooms. Suites start with the Lily Suite, at 950 sq. ft., and continue up to the Royal Oceanfront Suite (1925 sq. ft.), with two bedrooms (king in the master, two queen beds in the second bedroom, as well as a sofa bed in the living room).

The resort will open six restaurant and bar options:

Riva (Italian Cuisine, all-day dining): serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner
CW Prime (American Steak and Seafood): serves dinner only
Pool Grill: serves lunch
St. Regis Bar: drinks 3-9pm
Tiki Bar: casual dining and drinks on the beach Tues.-Sun. 12 noon – 9pm
Oshen (Asian Fusion): cocktails and light bites 3-9pm

In addition to the resort's main swimming pool, there's a serenity pool, a winding river, and even a saltwater lagoon with Aldabra giant tortoises and other marine life, perfect for snorkeling.
