This Review of the British Airways First Class Lounge and Club Lounge at JFK Terminal 7 is from my husband's visit prior to his ANA First Class flight from New York JFK to Tokyo HND. See all of our Airport Lounge Reviews and posts tagged British Airways.
British Airways First Class Lounge JFK Location and Access
The British Airways First Class Lounge at JFK is located in Terminal 7, after security.
British Airways, Oneworld, and ANA First Class passengers have access to the First Class Lounge on the left, as well as the Club Lounge for Business Class passengers on the right. British Airways Executive Club Gold elite members and Oneworld Emerald members also have access to both lounges, while Silver elite members and Oneworld Sapphire members only have access to the Club Lounge.
The lounge is typically open 5am-10pm.

British Airways First Class Lounge JFK Seating and Amenities
The new British Airways First Class Lounge at JFK is British Airways' flagship First Class Lounge in the U.S. The new First Class Lounge is 60% larger than the previous space, at nearly 5500 square feet, and has a few distinct areas, rather than the one large space of the prior lounge.
By the entrance to the First Class Lounge was a display of fresh fruit and lemonade:

This is the main armchair seating area, conveniently close to both soft drinks and wines.
.
The Borough Wines of London setup dispenses wine that at the optimal temperature and oxidation level to maximize enjoyment.

There's also a First Class bar area with both bar stool seating and more comfortable lounge chairs to the left (see our video review below).
.
Usually there is a la carte dining in the Boutique Dining area, although this wasn't the case during my visit.
.
This room offers a communal work desk with power outlets.

British Airways Club Lounge JFK Seating and Amenities
The adjacent revamped British Airways Club Lounge debuted in 2019, and is also clean and contemporary looking, a welcome refresh of the previous Galleries Lounge concept.
.
There's a large self-serve bar area with wines and spirits. In addition, during peak hours, the Quaich Bar (see the below video) has an experienced bartender creating custom cocktails. The Quaich Bar was created in partnership with the Craigellachie Hotel in Speyside, Scotland.

The Elemis Spa was closed, but normally offers complimentary 15 minute treatments.

The Verdict
The British Airways First Class Lounge and Club Lounge at JFK Terminal 7 are tremendous improvements over their prior incarnations, especially on the First Class side, where the space is considerably larger, new, and contemporary. It was especially relaxing due to the lack of passengers, although by the same token, there was also no food being served in the Boutique Dining area of the First Class Lounge, and only light food in the Club Lounge area. That wasn't a problem since I wanted to save my appetite for ANA First Class.
