Yes, back in 2011, but the 75,000 AA mile offers went away in October 2011. And more recently, Citi has only allowed 1 Citi credit card application per day/24 hour period, so there's no more “two browser trick.”

I'd suggest first taking advantage of the current 50K AAdvantage Visa offer, then, if you don't already have it, apply in a day or two for the AAdvantage Gold card. The best offer I know of is the 25K bonus miles offer, the 30K offer is dead. After ~65 days, apply for the CitiBusiness AAdvantage for 40K AA miles.
