Staples is offering a $20 Prepaid Visa Card after you buy $300 or more in Visa Gift Cards between 4/13 and 4/19 as a limited time offer, maximum of one rebate per household.
This offer also stacks with the recent AMEX Sync offer of $20 off $100 in Staples spend, if you managed to load this to your AMEX card earlier (the deal is no longer available, it was capacity controlled).
It's also useful as another way to meet minimum spend towards a signup bonus, especially if that card happens to be an Ink Bold or Ink Plus business card, since they earn 5X points per dollar spent at Staples and other office supply stores.
You could even try to get the best of both by asking the cashier to do a split transaction, putting $100 of the spend on your synced AMEX, then the remainder on your Ink Bold or Ink Plus for the 5X points. Note that some on Flyertalk have reported not being able to do a split transaction, with the explanation that Staples won't do it due to credit card fraud–your mileage may vary.
