Nobu London Portman Square Has Opened as the UK's lockdown has eased. Technically the new hotel opened in early December 2020, before having to close due to local COVID-19 restrictions. It brings a stylish Japanese minimalism to Marylebone, just a short 15 minute walk from other luxury London hotel icons such as The Connaught, 45 Park Lane (Dorchester Collection) and the Four Seasons London at Park Lane. A bit further away will be the new Cheval Blanc London Mayfair, expected to open in 2023.

Nobu London Portman Square Location
Nobu London Portman Square is located at 22 Portman Square, just off of Upper Berkeley Street between Gloucester Place and Montagu Street. Hyde Park and the Marble Arch Tube Station are a 5 minute walk, Kensington Gardens are 18-20 minutes by foot, Buckingham Palace is a half hour walk, and the Natural History Museum is a 35 minute walk. Expect the drive from London Heathrow to take 35 minutes-1 hour 10 minutes, depending on traffic.

Nobu London Portman Square Aesthetics, Rooms and Suites
Nobu London Portman Square's lobby, designed by David Collins Studio, is airy and light-filled, with a striking sculpture by award-winning British artist Ivan Black.
The hotel, which was once a Radisson Blu, has 249 rooms and suites designed by Make Architects utilizing natural woods and Japanese accents, including bonsai trees and stoneware tea sets. Bathrooms feature Toto toilets, kimono-style robes, and Grown Alchemist toiletries.

Nobu London Portman Square Dining
Nobu Restaurant serves beloved Nobu classics such as hamachi jalapeno, black cod miso and sashima salad with Matsuhisa dressing, with a full range of nigiri and maki sushi as well as tempura, hot and cold dishes, and a GBP 92 omakase tasting menu.

Enjoy breakfast at The Terrace, where where delightful East-West choices await: Organic Salmon and Scrambled Egg Donburi (rice bowl), Crab Benedict with Yuzu, French Toast with Lemon Creme Fraiche and Apricots, cold pressed juices, fresh fruit, berries, and yogurt among other options.
