New Four Seasons Seoul Opening Special Plus Preferred Partner Benefits


The new Four Seasons Seoul is now accepting reservations for arrivals from October 15, 2015, plus it's offering an opening special that is combinable with all Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits. Here are the hotel highlights, followed by the offer details.

  • Located at 97 Saemunan-ro in Jongno-gu, about a 45 min. drive from Seoul Incheon Airport (ICN) and a 10 min. walk to Gyeongbokgung Palace, and short drive from Changdeokgung Palace and Changgyeonggung Palace
  • The largest entry level rooms in Seoul: Deluxe Rooms are 474 square feet
  • New Four Seasons bed customizable to your sleep preference in all rooms and suites
  • Four Seasons Executive Club Lounge (Book a Club Room to gain access)
  • 3 storey, 57,500 square foot spa complex with 3 pools (lap pool, vitality pool and kids' pool), traditional Korean saunas, 7 spa treatment rooms including two couple's rooms and one spa suite with a private relaxation area
  • 7 dining options, including Italian (Boccalino), Japanese (Kioku), Chinese (Yu Yuan) and pan-Asian (The Market Kitchen) as well as Bar Boccalino, a New York speakeasy bar (Charles H.), the Lobby Lounge (Maru) and pastry bar (Confections by Four Seasons)

I love how light-filled the rooms are, and that the 16 Palace View Executive Suites offer gorgeous views of Gyeongbok Palace.

I'm also happy to see that even entry level Deluxe Rooms are spacious (the largest in Seoul) and have beautiful marble bathrooms, with double vanities/his and hers sinks.

The lobby lounge, appropriately named “Maru” (Korean for “living room) is a great all day gathering place, and am happy to see that Korean-inspired menu items will be available, since there's no dedicated Korean restaurant, and it would be strange to not offer locally influenced fare at one of the many dining venues.

I especially love that, unusual for a city hotel, there's a separate kids' plunge pool, in addition to the lap pool and vitality pool, as part of the extensive Four Seasons Seoul Spa and and Health Club offerings. Here's a rendering of the lap pool:

It's great as well that Four Seasons Seoul will offer an Executive Club Lounge; I'm wondering if, as at Four Seasons Hong Kong, it will be possible to purchase access to it–something we absolutely found worth it during our stay at Four Seasons Hong Kong. If not, then to gain access you'll need to reserve a Club Room or a City-View Executive Suite or higher category suite to enjoy complimentary access to the
