MileagePlus Discounted Lufthansa Business Class Awards ARE available after all, starting February 10, since United has formally announced the details of its discounted business awards.
Since Lufthansa Business Class and Lufthansa First Class award space is only bookable 15 days in advance I previously wrote, in Discounted United Partner Business Class Awards Bookable for All of 2015, that Lufthansa business class awards weren't being discounted.
As you can see, United's sale is for both Economy and Business Class in a variety of regions. In most cases, however, you're not saving more than 10,000 miles each way, with the notable exception of travel between the U.S. and Europe.

The best deal, if you have the flexibility to book just a few days before departure, if there's award space, is Lufthansa Business Class from the West Coast for 57,500 United MileagePlus miles each way. Here are a few examples:
