Mandarin Oriental London Mayfair is now open, the second Mandarin Oriental in London after the Mandarin Oriental London Hyde Park, which is located about a 30 minute walk away. The hotel, located at 22 Hanover Square, is steps from Soho boutiques and galleries and a short walk from West End theatres, Buckingham Palace, and the National Gallery.

The new hotel is boutique in size, with just 50 guestrooms and suites in addition to private residences. Entry level Deluxe Rooms are 355 sq. ft. (33 Sq. M.), with either one king bed or two twin beds, while Studio Rooms are 409 sq. ft. with a walk-in shower.

Executive Suites (538 sq. ft.) have a separate living room, double vanities in the bathroom, and a soaking tub as well as a walk-in shower. The new hotel is home to Michelin-starred chef's Akira Back's eponymous restaurant, blending Japanese and Korean cuisine. ABar Lounge offers inventive cocktails and light bites, as well as featured DJs on the weekends.

Later this year, DOSA will open as a chef's table experience for just 14 diners. ABar Rooftop will also open later this year, with skyline views to match its mixologists' creations.
