As we wrote in Book Lufthansa First Class in Advance with United Miles, there are some Lufthansa First Class award seats using United miles or other Star Alliance partner miles between Chicago ORD and Frankfurt FRA that are available up to 30 days in advance, rather than the usual 15 days in advance. Here's a September 4 award that would be able to enjoy access to the First Class Terminal:

Quick Security Screening and Check-in at the Lounge
Rather than waiting in a security line elsewhere in the airport, the Lufthansa First Class Terminal has its own security screening and check-in. It takes seconds and we've never had to wait.

Nap Rooms
One of the best features is the pair of nap rooms. Note that these are available on a first come, first served basis, but if available, you'll be able to catch some much needed shut-eye on a real bed between flights.

Private Car Transfer Directly to Your Aircraft
Rather than having to calculate how long it will take you to get to your gate, if you're in the Lufthansa First Class Terminal, an assistant will come find you when it's time to go, and bring you to your waiting luxury car or van, usually a Mercedes or a Porsche.

Children's Playroom and Crib
Traveling can be stressful for families with young children, but the First Class Terminal, unlike many first class lounges, has some dedicated space for children, including a crib for babies or toddlers who need a nap.

Additional Lounge Features
Of course there are also shower rooms, some with soaking tubs, a tasteful buffet along with a la carte menu service, and office cubicles as well as relaxation chairs.
