Hyatt: Free COVID-19 Testing Mexico, Caribbean Resorts

Hyatt Resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean will Provide Free COVID-19 Testing to guests traveling to the U.S. through May 31, 2021. This enables U.S. bound travelers to comply with the COVID-19 testing requirement for all international arrivals to the U.S., which took effect 1/26/201.

Hyatt guests at the participating hotels are eligible for a complimentary COVID-19 test for up to two registered guests per room per stay. The on-property testing options will be either a rapid antigen or a RT-PCR test that meets the U.S. CDC guidelines.

Hyatt also announced a special Travel Delay Rate to guests who cannot complete their travel due to test-related reasons, representing up to a 50% savings on standard rates (excluding Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara properties) and up to a 30% discount on food and beverage (excluding alcohol).

Hyatt Prive benefits include complimentary daily breakfast for two, a confirmed upgrade at booking (except for high occupancy periods, when upgrade is subject to availability at check-in), late check-out subject to availability, and a resort credit that varies by property. Some Hyatt Prive resorts require a certain minimum night stay to enjoy the resort credit, see below.
