Today's edition of Guess the Luxury Resort brings you to a mountain wonderland. While it can be reached by car, I opted for an aerial approach (which is nevertheless part of public transport).

Thanks to a great recommendation from the Concierge, I was soon exercising my muscles and lungs on a steep path upward to an alpine lake. The view was like something from Lord of the Rings (no filter or retouching):

On my way back down, I saw quite a bit of mountain biking; fortunately these are typically on their own trails, completely separate from hiking paths. There was also a golf course; it's not part of the resort, but just one of many summer activities, which also include ziplining, paragliding, and summer concerts.
Of course, winter brings skiing and snowboarding; the resort is ski in/ski out, right by a ski lift.

Back at the resort, there's also beach volleyball, with summery cocktails offered “beachside.”

The resort offers a bountiful breakfast, perfect for fueling up before active summer or winter sports. There's a cold and hot buffet with everything from locally produced cheeses to hearty sausages, green juice, a fresh squeezed orange juice machine, yogurts, fruits, cereals, and honeycomb.

Additional dishes such as this excellent omelet with spinach, mushrooms, and local cheese and bacon can be ordered from the menu.

After an adrenaline-packed day of hiking, biking, or skiing, nothing's better than relaxing in the resort's indoor-outdoor pool, one of its several saunas, hammam or jacuzzi, or enjoying a spa massage.
