Four Seasons Orlando Now Offers Extra Magic Hours at Disney World, a nice way to enjoy the Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center or Animal Kingdom before or after regular opening hours, escaping the crowds. Combine this with the Four Seasons Orlando 4th Night Free offer, and it could be a great way to visit Disney World, while still enjoying a luxury resort stay for those family members who are more ambivalent about a Disney vacation.
What Are Extra Magic Hours at Disney World?
Extra Magic Hours at Disney World are offered at select Disney World parks on select days and times, either before the park's regular opening hours, or after the park's regular closing. The schedule changes, so it's best to check the Extra Magic Hours 5 Day Calendar. For example, this is the current schedule for the Magic Kingdom and Epcot Center:
As you can see, the Magic Kingdom's Extra Magic Hours will be Wednesday March 14 from 11pm-1am, and Friday March 16, from 7-8am. Epcot Center will have its Extra Magic Hours Tuesday March 13 from 9-11pm, and on Thursday March 15 from 8-9am.
Disney World promises that guests with Extra Magic Hours access will have the opportunity to enjoy it at least once per day at one of the 4 Disney World theme parks.
Normally only guests at Disney's own resorts, and a few that are located in the Disney Springs area, such as various Hilton, DoubleTree, Holiday Inn, Best Western and Wyndham hotels, have access to Extra Magic Hours. To my knowledge, Four Seasons Orlando is the only true luxury resort in the area to have access. Currently access for Four Seasons Orlando guests goes through December 31, 2018, although is subject to change without notice.
Guests will need a valid Walt Disney World theme park ticket, and an Extra Magic Hours voucher from the Four Seasons Orlando (see the resort's Disney Planning Center) to use the Extra Magic Hours benefit.
