Fly Flat Bed TAP Air Portugal Business Class to Europe for 50,000 points each way in February-March 2025. There's also some limited award availability for other dates in late 2024 and in winter/spring 2025, depending on routes. TAP Air Portugal flies nonstop to Lisbon LIS from a number of cities in the U.S. and Canada: Boston (BOS), Chicago (ORD), Miami (MIA), Montreal (YUL), Newark (EWR), New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO), Toronto (YYZ) and Washington, DC (IAD), and also flies Newark EWR to Porto OPO. There's especially good availability for flights between Newark-Porto and Newark-Lisbon, as well as between Boston-Lisbon and Montreal-Lisbon.
Book with Air Canada Aeroplan for 60,000-70,000 Aeroplan points; with the Chase to Aeroplan 20% transfer bonus, that equates to 50K-59K Chase Ultimate Rewards points each way. Alternatively, if you already have ANA Mileage Club miles, Mileage Club charges 100K miles roundtrip; note that you can't book one way awards with Mileage Club, and it takes 48 hours to transfer AMEX Membership Rewards points to Aeroplan, so availability could change in the meantime.
It's also possible to book award seats using other Star Alliance frequent flyer programs, such as Avianca or United MileagePlus, but it will cost you more miles. Aeroplan charges 60,000-90,000 points each way, depending on distance, while United MileagePlus charges 88,000 miles each way.
