We've previously written about 60K Air France Business Class award flights, although typical award amounts are usually much higher, around 141,000 miles or even 300K miles or more. That said, a quick search shows several dates in November and December 2025 for 60K Air France Business Class awards from New York JFK to Paris CDG. Taxes are ~EUR 208. Note that award flights from Europe have higher taxes; typically ~EUR 420 for CDG-JFK.

Where to Stay in Paris

We enjoyed our recent stay at luxury boutique hotel J.K. Place Paris, on the Left Bank, close to the Musee d'Orsay, the Jardin du Luxembourg, and our favorite patisserie, Pierre Herme on rue Bonaparte. On the ultra-luxury front, we particularly like Cheval Blanc Paris, and if you do want to indulge in shopping on the Champs-Elyesees, consider either the Four Seasons George V Paris, with its gorgeous floral decor and 3-Michelin-star dining at Le Cinq, or luxury boutique La Reserve Paris.
