Flat Bed Business Class to Europe for 28K Miles Roundtrip

Flat Bed Business Class to Europe for 28K Miles Roundtrip

.

Book Business Class to Europe for Just 28,000 Miles Roundtrip per person, although taxes add ~$577. Still, given that paid roundtrip business class fares can exceed $3000-4000, you're still getting 8-12 cents or more per mile in value.

The catch: the miles needed are Lufthansa Miles & More miles, which are difficult to come by unless you regularly credit Star Alliance flights to Miles & More, have the Miles & More credit card, and/or have a bunch of Miles & More miles leftover from when it was possible to transfer Bonvoy points (previously SPG Starpoints) to Miles & More.

The other thing to note is that these special Mileage Bargains aren't on Lufthansa, but rather on Lufthansa's affordable leisure carrier, Eurowings Discover, which just started operations earlier this year, in July 2021. Eurowings Discover Business Class on the A330 is flat bed, but in a 2-2-2 configuration, with 30 seats across 5 rows. This is obviously best if you're traveling with a partner, and not great for solo travelers. The offer must be booked by 12/31/21 for the following city pairs and travel dates:

  • Fort Myers RSW to Frankfurt FRA, from March 28, 2022
  • Las Vegas LAS to Frankfurt, from March 28, 2022
  • Las Vegas LAS to Munich from March 27, 2022
  • Salt Lake City SLC to Frankfurt, from May 23, 2022
  • Tampa TPA to Frankfurt, from now

Not great for solo travelers. LOL! That’s funny. I am sure all in economy would disagree!
