Asiana First Class Suites award space on the New York JFK to Seoul ICN is *temporarily* available due to Asiana migrating its reservation platform (this is similar to the weekend when Singapore migrated its platform and Singapore First Class awards were bookable with United and Star Alliance partner miles).
Last month, in No More Asiana First Class Suites Awards Available? I noted that Asiana Suites awards using United and Star Alliance partner miles had basically disappeared, leaving only Asiana's old first class still bookable with partner miles.
Bottom line: take advantage of this if you can, especially given the United Award Chart Devaluation, to nab Asiana First Class Suites award space JFK-ICN and/or ICN-JFK for just 70,000 United miles per person.
While United is showing most of the space and you can book online with United miles, if you don't see your desired dates you could also check using the ANA Tool to accurately search Asiana award space, then call United to book. If booking with US Air Dividend miles, you'll need to call anyway, and it will have to be a roundtrip award.
If you want to book this, do it right away! I doubt this award space will last long, and we will most likely see a return sometime tomorrow to only Asiana old first class awards being bookable.
