A Chase VIP Lounge in NYC is complimentary to United credit card holders January 29-February 1 next week, to celebrate the 2014 Super Bowl. So if you got the United MileagePlus Explorer up to 65,000 bonus offer or the recent United MileagePlus Business card 50,000 bonus offer, just show up with your card and a valid ID for entrance.
There are also Big Game Parties by reservation only on February 2. If you're in the area anyway, it could be worth checking out, although I wouldn't go out of my way to, since Guy's American Kitchen and Bar gets absolutely abysmal ratings on Yelp: 2.5 stars out of 5. Granted, the Times Square area is the last place in NYC you want to go for quality food and service, but it still takes special talent to earn such a low rating.
There are also various paid events, including Celebrity Chef dinners with Frank Pellegrino, Emeril Lagasse, Mario Batali and Guy Fieri ($100 per person); Football Legends Meet and Greets with Phil Simms and Boomer Esiason (sorry, Dan Marino is sold out already) for $50 per person, and the Big Game Parties mentioned above for $75 per person.

Entrance
- Complimentary VIP Lounge access to all Chase United credit card holders, with valid photo ID
- Each eligible cardmember may bring up to 4 guests with them into the lounge
- All guests must pass through security and will be subject to a bag search and metal detection
- Entrance is first-come, first served
- VIP Lounge capacity is limited, and there may be a wait in line outside, so please dress accordingly for the weather
- Complimentary appetizers, snacks and beverages all day
- Each guest receives 3 tickets upon arrival for complimentary alcoholic beverages
