Airelles Venezia in Venice, Italy will open in November, 2025 as the ninth Airelles property and the first outside of France. The property was once the site of the Bauer Palladio Hotel and comprises three historically significant buildings, as well as a church and extensive gardens of nearly 2.5 acres.
Airelles is a Paris-based ultra-luxury hotel company, owned by media mogul Stéphane Courbit, that shares some similarities to Cheval Blanc (part of LVMH), and operates in some of the same settings that draw the well-heeled: Saint-Tropez and Courchevel. And while not in Paris proper, its Château de Versailles property is the only one that is part of the fabled palace.

Getting to Airelles Venezia
Airelles Venezia is located on the island of Giudecca, which is also home to Hotel Cipriani (Belmond); in fact the two properties are steps away from each other. Giudecca is a 7-minute boat ride from Saint Mark's Square, a 20-minute water taxi from Venice's Santa Lucia train station, and a 30-minute water taxi from Marco Polo Airport (VCE), which is served by seasonal nonstop flights from Atlanta ATL, Dallas DFW, New York JFK, Newark EWR, Philadelphia PHL and Washington Dulles IAD, as well as regularly scheduled nonstops from many European cities.
.
Airelles Venezia Rooms and Suites
Airelles Venezia will have 45 newly renovated rooms and suites, 23 of them in the Palladio building that was designed in the 16th century by architect Andrea Palladio. Next to the Palladio is the four-bedroom Presidential Suite, with a magnificent view of Piazza San Marco. The remaining rooms and suites are in the Conventino, a tranquil retreat that overlooks the gardens.
As with other Airelles properties, Christophe Tollemer is the architect and interior designer, whose vision for Airelles Venezia includes terrazzo and marble floors, exposed wood beams on the ceilings of some rooms, delicate Murano glass accents, custom Fortuny chandeliers, and romantic blues that bring to mind the ocean and sky.

Airelles Venezia Dining and Amenities
The new hotel will offer three dining destinations and two bars, one of them specializing in typical Venetian cicchetti (small plates/tapas), as well as a spa and gym of nearly 19,000 square feet with a dedicated wellness garden and three swimming pools.
Two of the restaurants, as well as a bar with outdoor terrace, the Airelles Spa, and a Kids' Club will be located in the Palladio; the hotel's signature restaurant and the second bar will be in the villa that also houses the Presidential Suite.
