Rosewood Mandarina Opens April 2025

The Rosewood Mandarina will open April 1, 2025 as the fourth Rosewood in Mexico, after Las Ventanas Al Paraiso in Los Cabos, Rosewood Mayakoba, and the Rosewood San Miguel de Allende. The new resort is located about a 1 hour drive from Puerto Vallarta Airport (PVR) on Mexico's West Coast, and an 8-minute drive from the neighboring One&Only Mandarina, with which it will share access to the Canalan Beach Club.

Rosewood Mandarina will offer 134 suites and villas. Flatland Studio Suites (827 sq. ft. interior with a ~500 sq. ft. private patio and plunge pool) are the resort's entry level suites, accommodating up to three guests in a king bed and sofa bed.

For couples craving a water view and easy beach access, we recommend reserving a Premier Beachfront Studio Suite (770 sq. ft. interior with ~300 sq. ft. private terrace and plunge pool) since these suites are directly on the beach, with a panoramic ocean view.

Larger families or friends traveling together will want to consider the two-floor Canalan Beachfront Villa, with two bedrooms, each with a king bed, two full bathrooms and a half bath, indoor dining room and kitchenette, private gym, media room, jacuzzi, infinity pool, and outdoor shower.

The resort will offer three pools, five restaurants and bars, including a specialty restaurant, and fitness club and spa treatments at Asaya Spa.

In addition to the Canalan Beach Club, with its infinity edge oceanfront pools, water sports (paddleboarding, kayaking, sailing), there will be golf at the new Mandarina Golf Club, hiking, ziplining, mountain biking, tennis/pickleball, and horseback riding at the Mandarina Polo & Equestrian Club.
