Thompson Madrid Location
Located at Pl. del Carmen, the Thompson Madrid is about a 20 minute drive from Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD); a 7 minute walk to Plaza Mayor, Madrid's main square; a 6 minute walk to the Four Seasons Madrid (review forthcoming); and a 16 minute walk from the Prado Museum and the Mandarin Oriental Ritz Madrid (review also forthcoming).

Thompson Madrid Rooms and Suites
The new hotel offers 175 guest rooms, including 23 suites. King Rooms are the entry level rooms, at 398 sq. ft. with a courtyard view, followed by King Deluxe (409 sq. ft.) with a garden view, then the smaller King City View (365 sq. ft.) and then King Terrace (376 sq. ft.), located on higher floors, with a private terrace. Somewhat confusingly, suites begin with the King Suite (592 sq. ft.) with city view, followed by the King Suite City View (602 sq. ft.), located on the 5th or 6th floor), then the smaller Junior Suite with Terrace (452 sq. ft.) which has a private terrace, then the Junior Suite City View with Terrace (592 sq. ft.).

For a true suite with separation between the bedroom and living room, reserve the Corner Suite View with Terrace (484 sq. ft.) or Terrace Suite (688 sq. ft.) or go all out for the two story Penthouse (2389 sq. ft.).
