The Park Hyatt Marrakech is now open, as of July 1, 2024, the first Park Hyatt in Morocco and the 5th Park Hyatt in the Middle East, after properties in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah and Doha.
.
Park Hyatt Marrakech Location
The Park Hyatt Marrakech is located within the Al Maaden development, about a 25 minute drive from Marrakech Airport (RAK), which is served by nonstop flights from many European and Middle Eastern cities such as Doha (Qatar Airways), Geneva (Swiss), Istanbul (Turkish Airlines), Lisbon (TAP Air Portugal), Madrid (Iberia), Paris CDG (Air France), Vienna (Austrian Airlines), Zurich (Swiss), and seasonal flights from London LHR (British Airways), Brussels (Brussels Airlines) and others. Marrakech's Jemaa el-Fnaa square and the Jardin Majorelle-Yves Saint Laurent, a 2.5 acre botanical garden, are each about a 20 minute drive from the resort. Of the other Marrakech luxury resorts, the closest to the Park Hyatt is the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech, a ~6 minute drive, and Amanjena, a ~10 minute drive away.
.
Park Hyatt Marrakech Rooms and Amenities
The new resort will have 130 rooms, including 69 suites, in a dramatic setting, with views of the golf course and the Atlas Mountains. Guest rooms are grouped in clusters, around a common courtyard, with each accommodation entered via a private interior courtyard with a water feature. Additionally, 45 Park Hyatt Marrakech private villas will each have a living room, dining room, fireplace and private pool.
.
The resort is adorned with formal and private gardens, secret spaces, and unique design features. There will be two swimming pools: an all day pool adjacent to the main restaurant, and a formal pool with an infinity edge that overlooks the Kyle Phillips designed 18-hole golf course. Phillips is known for his design of the Kingsbarns golf course in St. Andrews, Scotland, and The Grove, just outside London.
The Living Room will serve as the lobby lounge, serving light breakfasts from 8am, afternoon tea, and tapas until 8pm in the evening in a cozy environment.
.
TFAYA Brasserie Arabesque will serve breakfast 7-11am and in the evenings, from 7-10:30pm, showcase Chef Issam Rhachi’s redefined Moroccan classics.
.
Other amenities include the Fitness Center with Technogym equipment and yoga/pilates studios; Spa; Al Maaden Golf Course; and Kids' Club for children ages 4-12.
.
