Festive Season (Christmas-New Year's) is a Peak Time for Many Hotels, which is why I recommend booking 1 year or more in advance for popular locations, that is, if they're available at all (many of the best Hawaii and Caribbean luxury resorts give first priority to loyal guests who come every year for festive, so it can be impossible to get in even if attempting to book 1 year in advance).
Thankfully, for last minute planners, there are still a few options left for 2018 festive, even at several Four Seasons warm weather resorts in the Maldives, Anguilla, Costa Rica and the Seychelles, plus skiing in Jackson Hole. Note that the sample rates below were accurate at time of writing, but availability and rates are all subject to change.
1. Four Seasons Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru
Why Go: Beach, Views, Snorkeling, Diving, Spa, Great Kids' Club, new DeepFlight Submarine
Oceanfront Bungalows with Pool are available from December 21, 2018, through January 10, 2019. An eight-night minimum applies over the festive period. Example rate: $3450++ per night for December 24-January 1.

Currently, we have all room, suite and residence categories available from December 18 to 24, 2018, as well as a complimentary night offer in place with no minimum length of stay. From December 25, 2018, to January 5, 2019, we have several One-Bedroom Canopy Plunge Pool Suites, Three-Bedroom Villas, and both of our Four-Bedroom Estate Homes available. For the best value, our Stay Longer (free night promotions) offer is available up until December 25, 2018, and then reopens again on January 1, 2019. A minimum stay of seven nights applies only over four peak dates (December 26 to 29, 2018).
