Complimentary chauffeur airport transfers aren't just offered by Emirates and Etihad; a few other airlines and luxury hotels also offer this service as a nice perk to their best customers.

Airlines with Complimentary Chauffeur Airport Transfer Service

1. Etihad Chauffeur

Who: Etihad First Class and Etihad Business Class passengers on Etihad operated flights

Where: Over 25 Cities

To and From the Airport: “This service can be used at all points throughout the journey by our Diamond First Class guests.” “Pearl Business Class guests can enjoy this service for two transfers per journey unless their journey begins or ends in the UAE or includes a stopover in Abu Dhabi, in which case Etihad Chauffeur will be provided for all travel within the UAE in addition to two transfers in other countries.”

Mileage Restrictions: Varies by city; often 40-60 driven miles but can be more or fewer. For flights departing from Abu Dhabi or with Abu Dhabi as the final destination, Etihad Chauffeur is offered anywhere within the UAE. See Etihad Chauffeur.

How to Book: Book at least 24 hours prior to the flight via Etihad Chauffeur. That said, if arriving in Abu Dhabi, even without an advance Etihad Chauffeur reservation, you can typically request one at the Etihad Chauffeur Desk and if a car is available you will be accommodated.

Award Tickets Eligible: Yes. Etihad can be booked with American AAdvantage miles and Etihad Guest miles.

Not provided in Abu Dhabi for passengers in transit
Not available on codeshare flights; Etihad must be the operating carrier

2. Emirates Chauffeur

Who: Emirates First and Business Class passengers on Emirates operated flights

Where: Over 55 Cities

To or From the Airport: “From your home or hotel to the airport, from the airport to your final destination and to and from the airport when making a stopover.”

Mileage Restrictions: Varies by city; often 60 driven miles but can be more or fewer. For flights departing from Dubai or with Dubai as the final destination, Emirates Chauffeur is offered anywhere within the UAE. See Emirates Chauffeur

Vehicle: Varies by location. In Dubai, First Class customers are chauffeured in Mercedes vehicles, and Business Class customers are served by luxury Volvo cars.

How to Book: Book at least 48 hours prior to the flight by logging into Manage My Booking. That said, if arriving in Dubai, even without an advance Emirates Chauffeur reservation, you can typically request one at the Emirates Chauffeur Desk and if a car is available you will be accommodated.

Award Tickets Eligible: Yes. Emirates can be booked with Alaska miles, JAL miles (roundtrip awards only) and Emirates Skywards.

We definitely enjoyed this perk when staying at Amankila, especially given the rather chaotic lines that greeted us when departing Denpasar.
