Will I Be Recognized as an Astronaut?

Yes: all those who fly on Virgin Galactic will be recognized as commercial astronauts by the Association of Space Explorers, with specially commissioned insignia. Since 1985, the organization has welcome over 400 astronauts from 27 different countries as members.

Will the Flight Be Photographed and Videoed?

Yes: thanks to 16 cameras in the cabin, you'll receive a full media package of high quality images and video from the flight, enabling you to fully immerse yourself in the spaceflight itself. Relive and share the wonder of the flight with the captured photos and video.

Can Family Members Come to the Pre-Flight Training Center?

Yes! Each astronaut can bring up to three guests with them to the pre-flight training center in New Mexico, where all of you will stay in luxury accommodation and they'll take part in special activities while you undergo pre-flight training.

What is the Cost and the Initial Deposit Amount?

The initial deposit of $150,000 includes a $125,000 fully refundable deposit and a $25,000 non-refundable Future Astronaut community access fee. In the year before you fly, the remaining $300,000 balance will be due.
