The Four Seasons Firenze is located in the former Palazzo della Gherardesca, built in the late 15th century for Bartolomeo Scala, chancellor to the powerful Medici family. It's been meticulously restored, and the indoor atrium is one of the most beautiful and elegant Four Seasons lobbies I've seen.
Note that the outdoor pool isn't open in the early spring, but the whirlpool is open year-round.

There are only winter dates for this offer, and it's only for weekend stays, but I have to mention The Four Seasons Hong Kong as one of my very favorite city Four Seasons properties. I love the excellent, warm service in the Executive Lounge, not to mention the spectacular harbor views. Dim sum doesn't get more refined than at 3-Michelin star Lung King Heen, and clients have raved about their dinners at 2-Michelin star Caprice, the hotel's French restaurant.
