Lufthansa Allegris New First Class on the A350-900 launches November 9, 2024 with just four seats in the cabin. The first flight equipped with the new Lufthansa Allegris First Class cabin will be Munich (MUC) to Bengaluru (BLR) on November 9; on November 15 the A350-900 will fly MUC to Mumbai (BOM), and the aircraft will alternate on flights to the two cities. As of time of writing, Lufthansa has only taken delivery of one A350-900 equipped with the new Allegris First Class cabin (registered as D-AIXW), which has been parked in Munich (MUC). Lufthansa plans to retrofit the other five newly delivered A350s with the new Allegris First Class cabin over winter 2024-2025.
Initially, while there's only one A350-900 with the new Allegris First Class, Lufthansa won't sell these First Class seats. Instead, Lufthansa will invite their most loyal Miles & More frequent flyers (presumably HON Circle members) to experience Allegris, followed by “targeted upgrades by passengers and later targeted bookings.”

Greater Privacy and Customization
The new suites offer far greater privacy, with ceiling-high walls and lockable doors, than Lufthansa's old open suites. The two window suites are ideal for solo travelers.
A personal wardrobe in the suite provides space for personal items and the ability to change into sleepwear in the suite, and the ~35 inch wide seats can be heated or cooled, according to guest preference. First Class guests can dine on demand, at a time of their choosing.
.
What we're more doubtful about are the center “Suite Plus” seats, meant for two people traveling together. While a double bed in a suite sounds nice for a couple, it looks cramped, as first class goes, and far from ideal if one person wants to sleep while his/her partner needs to work or wants to dine.
Lufthansa could also adopt the approach of SWISS, which sometimes offers paid upgrades to passengers to have paid for SWISS Business Class. For SWISS, paid upgrades from Business Class to First on U.S. to Europe routes generally cost at least $1500-$2000 or more each way.
