Kennedy 89 Hotel, Frankfurt Opens Late 2023

Kennedy 89 Frankfurt, a Hyatt Unbound Collection Hotel, will open in December 2023, Hyatt's first luxury hotel in Frankfurt.

Kennedy 89 Location

As its name implies, Kennedy 89 is located by Kennedyallee, named after John F Kennedy, although its street address is Stresemannallee 28. The hotel is located a mere three minute walk from our former favorite Frankfurt luxury hotel, Villa Kennedy (Rocco Forte) which closed in 2022 and will only reopen under a different brand sometime in 2024. The hotel's Sachsenhausen district location is only a 10 minute drive from Frankfurt International Airport (FRA), walking distance from the Stadel Museum of Art, the German Film Museum, Museum of Communication, and the Liebieghaus sculpture museum, and a short drive or a half hour's walk from Frankfurt Cathedral at the Domplatz.

Kennedy 89 Rooms and Amenities

The hotel will offer 181 guest accommodations, including 68 suites, good news for both Hyatt Prive guests and Hyatt Globalists seeking upgrades (also see How Hyatt Prive Upgrades Can Be Better Than Hyatt Globalist Suite Upgrades). All rooms and suites will enjoy private balconies, many with views across the Frankfurt skyline, and will also include kitchenettes, convenient for guests with longer term stays and for families with children.

The hotel's signature restaurant will be on the ground floor, and this will be complemented by a first floor bar as well as a rooftop bar with a skyline view. Guests will also have access to an on-site gym.
