Hawaiian Airlines Has a Fall 2019 Fare Sale to Hawaii, with fares as low as $358 roundtrip SFO-HNL. Here are the details:
- Must book by August 1, 2019
- Travel from the Mainland to Hawaii September 2 – November 20, 2019
- Travel from Hawaii to the Mainland September 2 – November 26, 2019
- Travel must be Mondays-Thursdays

When spot checking, the least expensive economy fare I found was $584 roundtrip for NYC JFK to Honolulu HNL:
Normal economy roundtrip fares during the winter can be $700-$880 or more, so savings could be $300 or more per ticket.
On the other hand, Hawaiian Air First Class tends to be very expensive compared to United; the lowest I could find for Hawaiian Air First Class for JFK-HNL when spot checking during the fall was $3407:
For United Business Class, I was able to find a fare of $2707 for EWR-HNL roundtrip, $700 cheaper.
The good thing about fall (excluding Thanksgiving) is that it's low season, so there are better hotel rates than you'll find during peak winter season. See, for example, Four Seasons Maui and Hualalai Value Dates.
