This boutique hotel is one of the more intimate hotels in the city, perfect for couples and families looking for something cozier than what the larger luxury hotels offer. We were warmly greeted, both when we checked in and when we came down in the morning for breakfast.
.
We were generously upgraded to a Deluxe Suite (625 sq. ft.), which was a true one bedroom suite with a door closing off the bedroom from the living area. Some of these suites feature a sofa bed, comfortably sleeping two adults in the bedroom and a child in the living area. The bed was very comfortable, made up with Frette linens.
.
A lovely box of chocolates welcomed us; perfect paired with an espresso from the Nespresso machine, or Tealeaves tea.
.
The bathroom has a deep soaking tub and separate shower, and I liked that there were L'Occitane bath products.
.
I especially liked that there was a long balcony running the length of the suite overlooking Robson Square Garden, providing a relaxing view of trees and green space.
.
The hotel's restaurant serves breakfast from 7am, but even before then there's coffee and tea available in the lobby, a nice touch for early risers. The restaurant itself is both elegant, with its gorgeous floral centerpiece, and cozy, with a fireplace and comfortable armchairs and banquettes.
.
A full breakfast with two eggs any style, potatoes, bacon and roasted tomato is included for all TravelSort Clients; alternatively, choose the Continental option with a yogurt granola parfait and pastries. Both options include fresh squeezed orange or grapefruit juice, which was excellent. Another option is to choose a breakfast entree; I enjoyed a tasty chevre, mushroom, and spinach omelette, while my husband opted for the excellent Swiss Bircher Muesli.
.
The pain au chocolat in the pastry basket was especially fantastic: warm and very flaky, with high quality chocolate.
.
Can you guess the boutique hotel and which city it's in?

I’m guessing the Wedgewood Hotel in Vancouver. Looks nice.
