GroundLink Car Service for NYC Airports Only $10 After Jetsetter Credit

While I'm usually rather wary of private car service offers, since they always seem to cost an arm and a leg after you add on all the additional taxes, tolls, and gratuity, it's hard to go wrong with $10 for $75 in credits, using the mobile app deal, which is the best one. I originally thought they inflated the “Actual Value” to make it seem as though you're getting a better deal than you are, since on Jetsetter the actual value of a midtown-JFK or EWR airport transfer is $65 and a midtown-LGA airport transfer is $54:

On the GroundLink Web site, the Economy airport transfer is listed as $49 for JFK/EWR and $38 for LGA. As it turns out though, the Jetsetter deal includes tax and gratuity, but the Web site does not, so the $49 is actually $65 including tax and gratuity.

Here's what to note when deciding whether to purchase:

• If you buy a voucher, it can only be used for the airport stated (e.g. JFK/EWR; LGA; SFO; ORD; or LAS)
• Mobile voucher ($35 for $75 worth of credit, or $10 if you are a new Jetsetter member with $25 in credit) can be used anywhere GroundLink operates, but is *only* for new GroundLink customers and *must* be activated on the iPhone or Android app. If you are a new GroundLink customer, the mobile voucher is the best deal, especially if you need to get to JFK or EWR which would be $65 incl. tax and gratuity. You'd pay $14 (after $25 Jetsetter credit) for the JFK/EWR voucher, but only $10 for the mobile voucher.
