Four Seasons Hualalai 4th Night Free offers are incredibly rare, which isn’t surprising considering how popular the resort is. It’s not even possible to book during Festive (Christmas-New Year’s) unless you’re a loyal guest who has been coming there every year at that time, or if you’re one of the very few who get in off the wait list at the last minute.
That’s why it’s newsworthy to see the Prime Ocean View Rooms offered for select dates in October and early December with 4th night free and Preferred Partner benefits, which include:
- Upgrade of one category, based on availability at time of check-in (excluding signature suites and villas)
- Daily full American breakfast for two people per bedroom, served through In-Room Dining or in the hotel restaurant (including buffets)
- Food and beverage credit of USD100
- Complimentary basic Internet access for up to two devices
For example, during these sample dates of December 5-9, a Prime Ocean View Room would be $1145 + tax per night; with the 4th night free taken into account, this brings the average rate down to $859 + tax per night.

Where are Prime Ocean View Rooms located?
Prime Ocean View Rooms are located on the second floor of the Palm Grove, Beach Tree and Sea Shell crescents, near the ends of the “U” and as such are closer to the ocean than regular Ocean View Rooms.
What Can the Prime Ocean View Room Upgrade To?
If an upgrade is available at check-in, it will be to a Deluxe Ocean View Room. These are situated in the Kings Pond Crescent, which the favorite crescent of my clients who are repeat guests at Hualalai. This is because this crescent is even closer to the ocean than the other crescents, so the 2nd floor Deluxe Ocean View Rooms have even better ocean views than Prime Ocean View Rooms in the other crescents. Other benefits of this crescent is that it tends to be very quiet after 4pm, since that is when Kings Pond, the lava rock “aquarium” filled with tropical fish and even an eagle ray, closes, to give the marine life a rest.
What’s the Difference Between Reserving with Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Virtuoso, and AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts Benefits?
While I can make Four Seasons reservations for clients with Four Seasons Preferred Partner, Virtuoso, or AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits, 99% of the time I reserve with Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits. That’s because Four Seasons Preferred Partner trumps Virtuoso and AMEX FHR when it comes to priority for upgrades. So if you want to give yourself the best chance of an upgrade, reserve with Four Seasons Preferred Partner perks. The only time I tend to reserve Four Seasons hotels with AMEX FHR is if the client absolutely needs the guarantee of a 4pm late check-out.
