Which Airlines Have Fully Vaccinated Airline Crews, or Have Mandated Vaccines? Some of our clients have been asking about this, as they choose among airlines. While there's still the question of other passengers' vaccination status, it can provide some peace of mind to know that all flight crew have been vaccinated
1. Qatar Airways
Qatar Airways' flight crews are fully vaccinated. The airline was one of the earliest to inoculate its staff against COVID-19, with 95 percent of employees already vaccinated by the end of May. Even better, all Qatar Airways staff have been vaccinated with the particularly effective mRNA vaccines, Pfizer and Moderna.

2. Etihad Airways
Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways was the first major airline to vaccinate 100 percent of its cabin crew, although note that most employees received the Sinovac or Sinopharm vaccines, which have reduced efficacy against the Delta variant than the mRNA vaccines.

3. United Airlines
United Airlines will Require All Flight Crew and Staff to Be Vaccinated by 9/27/21, 5 weeks after Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine received full FDA approval.

4. Singapore Airlines
Singapore Airlines has a vaccine mandate for pilots and cabin crew. To date, 99 percent of active Singapore Air pilots and cabin crew have been vaccinated.

5. Air Canada
Canada has imposed a strict vaccine mandate for all air travel and cruises, such that all Air Canada flight crew and employees must be fully vaccinated by the end of October 2021.

6. Hawaiian Airlines
Hawaiian Airlines flight crew and employees must have received their second shot (if a two dose vaccine) by 11/1/21.

7. SWISS
Swiss International Air Lines will require all flight crew to be fully vaccinated by November 15, 2021. This mandate will make us more likely to recommend SWISS Business Class to our clients concerned with flying with a fully vaccinated crew to and from Europe.
