The Hilton HHonors Massive Devaluation took effect March 28, but it's actually still possible to book AXON Awards through June 14, although unfortunately only for lower level properties due to the devaluation.
There will still be AXON awards, but starting June 15, AXON rates will be increased and Category 8-10 AXON awards will be added. There is no word yet on the new AXON rates, but current Hilton AMEX cardmembers can expect to receive communication about this in the coming weeks. This has been confirmed by Dasha Ross, Director of Global Corporate Communications at Hilton.
So in case you didn't manage to burn all your HHonors points and you have a need for a mid-tier property, you have nearly 2 months to get a 4 night (or 8 night) award at the new category 6 and 7 Hilton properties. The ones I'd recommend are:
Conrad Algarve Palacio Da Quinta (New Category 7): 145,000 HHonors points for 4 nights
Conrad Centennial Singapore (New Category 7): 145,000 HHonors points for 4 nights
Hilton Moscow Leningradskaya (New Category 7): 145,000 HHonors points for 4 nights
Conrad Seoul (New Category 7): 145,000 HHonors points for 4 nights
Conrad Punta del Este (New Category 7): 145,000 HHonors points for 4 nights
If you still have Hilton HHonors points, do you plan to book an AXON award before June 15?
