Regent Santa Monica Beach has opened as the 11th Regent hotel and the first in the U.S., after properties in China (Beijing, Shanghai on the Bund, Shanghai-Pudong, Chongqing, Hong Kong), as well as Taipei, Phu Quoc, Berlin, and Cannes. The hotel, the former Loews Santa Monica, underwent a $150 million renovation prior to its reopening.

Located at 1700 Ocean Avenue, steps from the Santa Monica Pier, the hotel is about a 30 minute drive from Los Angeles LAX, a 5 minute walk from Palisades Park, and a 16 minute to the Santa Monica Farmers Market, held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.

The show-stopping signature Santa Monica Presidential Suite boasts an unprecedented 3,200 square feet of opulently designed living space, including separate living, dining, and game rooms, alongside panoramic ocean views.

Amenities
San Francisco's AvroKO designed the hotel's public spaces with ocean-inspired details, evoking imagery of boat sails, Mediterranean yacht journeys, and sandy textures. Yacht-style flooring and a palette of green, gold, and cream accents have lent the hotel a bright and airy ambience.
Guests can enjoy the elevated pool deck overlooking the Pacific Ocean; Greek and Egyptian dishes at Michael Mina's Orla Restaurant; superb cocktails at Orla Bar; and barista creations as well as pastries and grab and go items at Sweet July. Azure Bar serves poolside cuisine and cocktails al fresco, with an ocean view.
