American Express will open a Centurion Lounge at Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) in 2025, the first in Japan, and the second in East Asia after the Centurion Lounge Hong Kong and its twelfth international lounge.
The new lounge will be located in Haneda Airport's Terminal 3, after security, on the fourth floor, and will be on the small side, at only 7350 square feet (683 sq. m.), with seating for up to 122 guests.
Audrey Hendley, President, American Express Travel, noted that “Travel demand to Japan is on the rise, particularly among millennials and Gen Z, so the opening of a Centurion Lounge at Japan's popular travel destination, Haneda Airport, is a significant addition to American Express' global lounge network. We look forward to serving delicious food and beverages at the new Centurion Lounge at Haneda Airport, where our Japanese and international customers can relax and refresh before their flight.”
